Freightliner world premiere is candidate for US PR award
:Cologne/New York, December 10, 2015 – The world premiere of the Freightliner Inspiration Truck is a finalist at the PRWeek Awards in 2016. The top-level jury nominated the spectacular production at Hoover Dam as “Technology Campaign of the Year”.
The American PRWeek Awards rank among the most significant international prizes in the fields of PR. Every year, up to 1,000 agencies, enterprises and organizations from around the globe compete for an award. Only 35 percent of the projects receive a prize for outstanding PR performances. The winners will be announced on March 17th in New York City. In Europe, the project has already been awarded the FAMAB Award in gold and a eubea Award.
“Being nominated for the PRWeek Awards means an amazing acknowledgement for the entire team and encourages us to go on striking out in new directions when we deal with productions for PR events”, says Andre Pöhlker, CEO of OSK Marketing & Communications, situated in New York City.
In May 2015, OSK had transformed Hoover Dam into the largest drivable stage of the world for the attention-getting production for the first autonomously driving truck with road approval. The production acquired a media response of half a billion contacts. 60 high-performance projectors casted a gigantic projection on the 221 meters-high dam wall, 39,000 square meters in total. Still on site, the projection was awarded a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ for its lighting performance of 1.17 million lumens.
