Manufacturers, architects offices and agencies had submitted over 300 projects in a total of 15 categories to compete in the Automotive Brand Contest organized by the well-known design forum Rat für Formgebung (Design Council). In addition to the accolade Winner, the jury awarded 13 entries the designation Best-of-Best and made additional special awards.
This year was the first time that such a competition for this sector of commerce had been held, and it was the first international brand und design contest for the automobile industry. The Design Council was thus rewarding outstanding efforts in the fields of brand leadership, brand communication and design in the automotive sector. As Germanys auto PR agency number one, it was essential for us to participate in an automotive competition which also judges event concepts and film projects, explains OSK managing director Michael Kemme.
The winners will be presented on the first Press Day at the IAA within the framework of Automotive Designers Night on 13 September. In addition, they will be part of an online exhibition and will also be presented in a competition publication.
