Pro skater presents concept car:
With the digital world premiere of the all-electric EQT concept car, Mercedes-Benz Vans, with the support of OSK, once again showed what truly defines a modern product presentation. The elaborately produced video combines infotainment with a story told by a strong personality. This time the protagonist is none other than skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
If the eleven-time skateboarding world champion Tony Hawk (53) switches to electric mobility, then he has a good reason for it: the leisure-oriented small van concept has an electric longboard inside, on which Tony Hawk cruises through the city and turns heads. The seven-and-a-half-minute world premiere begins with this short clip and goes on to cover the highlights of the concept car, giving an overview of the first premium production vehicle for families and leisure-oriented private customers in the small van segment.
As a sporty dad, Tony Hawk not only fits perfectly into the target group, but as a skateboarding legend he also has a large social media following, which additionally boosts the communication’s reach. Several short teaser clips to get his social media followers excited and build anticipation are integral to the communication concept.
