Eighth consecutive year of growth
:Cologne, April 26, 2018 – Oliver Schrott Kommunikation has continued its success story also in 2017 – the agency has grown for the eighth time in a row. Last year, fee revenues rose to a new record level of 28.2 million euros – an increase of a good twelve percent. Total sales amounted to 39.3 million euros (plus eleven percent). OSK thus remains Germany’s fifth largest PR agency in the current ranking of the „PR Journal“.
OSK also performed very well in the individual segments in 2017. According to the detailed analysis of the PR Journal, the agency was once again Germany’s leading agency in the market segments „Car/Motor/Transport“, „Environment“ and „Capital Goods“. In the PR disciplines „Internal Communication“ (1st place), „Events“ (1st place), „Multimedia/Online PR“ (2nd place), „PR Consulting“ (5th place) and „Social Media“ (4th place) we were among the top agencies.
The demand for internal and change communication has increased particularly strongly. In addition, industrial customers also want increasingly popular instruments such as moving images or influencer relations for specialist topics in order to reach non-classical target groups. Growth in both OSK areas was therefore clearly in double figures.
The number of employees has also increased significantly. At the end of the year OSK had over 250 employees. They are spread over the locations Cologne, Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen, Berlin and the two foreign offices in New York and Beijing. In 2018, another site will be added in San Jose, the capital of Silicon Valley.
