OSK starts university cooperation

Partnership with Hochschule Fresenius

June 2009 - Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion is the new premium coop­er­a­tion partner of Hochschule Frese­nius, Univer­sity of Applied Sciences (HSF). For their part­ner­ship, the private univer­sity and Germany’s fourth-largest owner-oper­ated PR agency target an inten­sive exchange of topical compe­tence, the transfer of know-how between the theory and the prac­tice, as well as the joint devel­op­ment of research projects.

“Coop­er­ating with the HSF under­scores our approach of substan­ti­ated PR, applying latest research results for the commu­ni­ca­tion prac­tice and turning it into customer bene­fits”, explains Michael Kemme, Managing Director at Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion GmbH. “As their premium partner we aim for an inten­sive dialogue and numerous joint projects with the univer­sity.”

Prof. Dr. Peter Pougin, Vice Dean and Head of the Compe­tence Centre Place­ment Office of the HSF, believes the coop­er­a­tion delivers large bene­fits for both sides: “With Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion, we have won a very expe­ri­enced PR agency as our partner, with a perspec­tive of inter­esting joint future projects and perhaps intern­ships, as well as topics for bach­elor’s theses. OSK on the other hand, will be able to recruit excel­lently trained and educated junior staff. We look forward to a successful coop­er­a­tion.”

Hochschule Frese­nius can look back on more than 160 years of academic tradi­tion in the educa­tional sector. Currently, the HSF offers a total of thir­teen full-time and six extra occu­pa­tional courses of studies, seven profes­sional qual­i­fi­ca­tion courses as well as four advanced training courses at the univer­sity branches in Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Darm­stadt, Zwickau and Vienna. The subjects are Economics and Media, Chem­istry & Biology and Health.
