January 2009 The Holmes Report has named Oliver Schrott Kommunikation (OSK) the German Consultancy of the Year. The highly regarded Ame-rican report for PR professionals is published in New York and London. Each year it issues Agency Report Cards indicating the current ratings of all the major consultancies. The Holmes Report also sponsors the only pan-European PR award, the SABRE, which was bestowed on OSK in 2007 for its international PR event and campaign, E-Class Experience Paris-Beijing. Commenting on the most recent award, editor Paul Holmes said, “OSK managed several impressive campaigns over the past 12 months, including Mercedes-Benz press communication at the IAA 2007 trade show in Frankfurt, helping the company secure first place in terms of media coverage and recognition as the 'greenest' automakers at the show; the U.S. launch of the smart fortwo in Silicon Valley positioning the new vehicle as a 'real car' as well as an intelligent, environment-friendly alternative for urban areas“.
