January 2008 — Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion is expanding into the USA. With the estab­lish­ment of subsidiary OSK Marketing & Commu­ni­ca­tions Inc. in New York City, the agency is acknowl­edging the growing number of projects in America, and is one of the first German agen­cies to make the move to the New World.

Since we real­ized our first press event for General Motors and Opel in the USA in 1996, our customer interest in commu­ni­ca­tion activ­i­ties on the Amer­ican conti­nent has risen contin­u­ously,” explains agency owner Oliver Schrott. “With the opening of our own office, we can now provide even better support for our German clients over there. Further­more, we would also like to demon­strate “made in Germany” service quality to Amer­ican compa­nies.”

Headed by Carlos Mendes Candido, the OSK team initially consists of five people with exper­tise focused primarily on concep­tion, PR events, trade shows and exhi­bi­tions. The New York office is situ­ated in the Chanin Building on 42nd Street, in the heart of Manhattan, across from Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building.
