February 2008 A good two years after leaving Shanghai, with successful stops in China, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan and Russia, the Siemens exiderdome has reached the American continent on its B2B tour of the globe. In Guadalajara, Mexican Energy Minister Georgina Kessel Martínez fired the starting pistol that set the roadshow off on a tour of central and northern America that should take around one year.
Following its stay in Guadalajara, the mobile exhibition featuring Siemens’ Automation & Drives Division heads for Mexico City, Villahermosa and Monterrey. Alongside the regular customer events and exhibition appearances, the hi-tech pavilion will also be opening its doors for receptions, press conferences, special sector events and recruitment days. Since the beginning of the global business-to-business initiative at the end of 2005, Siemens has been able to welcome around 100,000 trade visitors in the exiderdome.
