February 2008 - A good two years after leaving Shanghai, with successful stops in China, Thai­land, South Korea, Taiwan and Russia, the Siemens exider­dome has reached the Amer­ican conti­nent on its B2B tour of the globe. In Guadala­jara, Mexican Energy Minister Georgina Kessel Martínez fired the starting pistol that set the road­show off on a tour of central and northern America that should take around one year.

Following its stay in Guadala­jara, the mobile exhi­bi­tion featuring Siemens’ Automa­tion & Drives Divi­sion heads for Mexico City, Villa­her­mosa and Monterrey. Alongside the regular customer events and exhi­bi­tion appear­ances, the hi-tech pavilion will also be opening its doors for recep­tions, press confer­ences, special sector events and recruit­ment days. Since the begin­ning of the global busi­ness-to-busi­ness initia­tive at the end of 2005, Siemens has been able to welcome around 100,000 trade visi­tors in the exider­dome.
