
January/February 2007 Two fascinating and exclusive automobiles are at the centre of an international press driving presentation which Oliver Schrott Kommunikation realises for Mercedes-Benz Car Group in Dubai: During a 48-hour testing programme, 120 journalists from 20 countries experience the new Maybach 62 S and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition. The United Arab Emirates, currently one of the most interesting regions worldwide, are the spectacular backdrop for numerous test drives, press conferences and in-depth topical discussions around the two luxury brands. As the emirates are also amongst the most important selling markets for the world’s most powerful chauffeur-driven limousine and the supersportscar with a limited edition of 150 vehicles, a one-week customer event takes place immediately after the press presentation. Programme and setup had been designed specifically flexible to cater for this additional usage.
