January/February 2007 - Two fasci­nating and exclu­sive auto­mo­biles are at the centre of an inter­na­tional press driving presen­ta­tion which Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion realises for Mercedes-Benz Car Group in Dubai: During a 48-hour testing programme, 120 jour­nal­ists from 20 coun­tries expe­ri­ence the new Maybach 62 S and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition. The United Arab Emirates, currently one of the most inter­esting regions world­wide, are the spec­tac­ular back­drop for numerous test drives, press confer­ences and in-depth topical discus­sions around the two luxury brands. As the emirates are also amongst the most impor­tant selling markets for the world’s most powerful chauf­feur-driven limousine and the super­sportscar with a limited edition of 150 vehi­cles, a one-week customer event takes place imme­di­ately after the press presen­ta­tion. Programme and setup had been designed specif­i­cally flex­ible to cater for this addi­tional usage.
