May 2007 — Oliver Schrott Kommunikation has won the SABRE Award 2007 in Gold for their project “Mercedes-Benz E-Class Experience Paris-Beijing”. The Sabre Awards — SABRE standing for “Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation” — are regarded as being the most important European PR awards and have been awarded by the New York Holmes Group since 2005 on a yearly basis. With the spectacular diesel long-distance tour, the agency wins the particularly prestigious “Consumer Marketing — New Products” category which received the highest share of the more than 1,400 projects entries. The SABRE Award is the second important award OSK has won for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Experience. In March the agency — as the first PR agency ever to receive this award — received the “Logistics Service Award” of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (the German Logistics Association) for the automobile marathon which took place in late 2006.
