Cologne/Las Vegas, January 2015 // Oliver Schrott Kommunikation kicked off the year by overseeing the activities of three clients at the International CES in Las Vegas, namely Mercedes-Benz, HARMAN and digitalSTROM. The Consumer Electronics Show is currently acknowledged as the world's premier forum for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. Its 3,600 exibitors and 170,000 trade visitors this year set a new record. For several years the fair has also served as a key showcase for the automotive industry.

For Mercedes-Benz, OSK oversaw the keynote address of Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche on the eve of the show - one of the highlights of the entire CES programme. During the widely reported presentation, the company introduced its concept car F 015 Luxury in Motion. It is the outcome of imaginative research into the automotive future. The driverless luxury saloon demonstrates the car's transformation from a vehicle to a safe haven that interacts with its passengers, pedestrians and other road users. OSK conceived the visual content for the multimedia presentation and was responsible for designing the event, the staging, and producing both the keynote speech and the media programme.

For their show in Las Vegas, the sound specialists HARMAN likewise engaged the expertise of the Cologne-based agency, which was looking after clients at the CES for the third time in succession. The HARMAN team developed a series of supporting activities to reinforce the impact of the company's Infotainment and Lifestyle divisions at the fair.

In addition, OSK supported the German/Swiss smart home provider digitalSTROM in its successful CES debut. Technologies supporting intelligent connectivity in the home ranked among the most prominent trends of the show in Las Vegas.

"The CES has been a fixture in our event calendar for several years. Our attendance in Las Vegas and on-site support of no fewer than three clients in 2015 further illuminates our skills and performance capabilities in the technology communication segment," comments OSK Managing Director Consultancy Michael Kemme.
