Cologne, September 2014 // Oliver Schrott Kommunikation (OSK) is the new PR agency of digitalSTROM AG for Germany. After a screening, the provider of smart home technologies has opted for the Cologne communications agency. The first joint project was the planning and successful realisation of digitalSTROMs media presentation at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) 2014.
In Berlin, the specialist for digital networking presented new solutions for intelligent living, which provide more comfort, safety and energy efficiency within ones own four walls. OSK was responsible for the pre-communication and public relations efforts around the trade fair and the contact on-site for journalists and digital influencers on duty - with groundbreaking success: Smart Home was one of the dominant topics at IFA; digitalSTROM not only received excellent feedback from visitors and consumers, but also benefited from a broad and nation-wide coverage in trade, consumer and lifestyle media.
From now on, OSK will take care of digitalSTROMs PR work in Germany. The area of responsibility also includes the function as external press office for the German market, as well as social media and motion design. The communication goal is to increase the awareness and knowledge about the innovative technology of digitalSTROM which is based on open interfaces and can thus, integrate a variety of devices in the Smart Home networked with each other.
