Cologne, Las Vegas, January 2014 - with its newly-developed “Clari-Fi” software, HARMAN ensured a revolution in the field of mobile music at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES): this innovative software improves the playing quality of compressed sound files such as MP3 to such an extent that the original quality is virtually completely restored. Thus HARMAN brings back not only the original volume and complete bandwidth to music on computers, mobile devices or in cars, it also resurrects the emotionality which was lost in the compression process. The result: crystal-clear, rich and thus stirring sound every time.

OSK developed a comprehensive package of measures for the emotional staging of “Clari-Fi” and the way it works to a selected audience of experts: in a specially-constructed demonstration room, entirely designed in the look and feel of the branding of the new software, business partners and customers experienced the innovative technology in exclusive presentations that were sealed off from the hustle and bustle of the fair. The starting point and introduction to the subject was provided by a product film made by OSK which illustrated the benefits of “Clari-Fi” from the customer’s point of view in a way that was as emotional as the material itself: it tells of the love of a company for music, of the loss of quality which had so far accompanied the increasing digitisation of sound, followed by the impressive revitalization of music thanks to “Clari-Fi”.

Afterwards visitors were able to convince themselves of the impressive sound produced by the software in the course of live demonstrations: five examples of sound ranging from pop via soul to heavy metal showed in direct comparisons how much better the music revitalized thanks to “Clari-Fi” sounds. The other communication measures included a talk presenting details concerning the technical refinements and operation of the innovative software as well as a brochure.

The CES in Las Vegas is considered worldwide to be the most important B2B consumer electronics fair. In 2014, 150,000 specialists visited the fair to gather information on the most important innovations in the sector.
