With “Encoun­ters - Women of the Star” Mercedes-Benz gives an extraor­di­narily deep insight into the inner work­ings of the enter­prise. In very personal portraits, the magazine presents female employees holding impor­tant posi­tions in all sectors of the company who contribute deci­sively to the success of the firm. They all stand for the deter­mi­na­tion of the brand with the three-pointed star to consis­tently support women - a plan which Mercedes-Benz has been logi­cally pursuing for many years.

The idea for this unusual corpo­rate-publishing project came from OSK. The agency was also respon­sible for the editing and design of the booklet, carried out the inter­views and devised as well as accom­pa­nied the photo shoots.

On 98 pages accom­pa­nied by surprising images, “Women of the Star” reports on their work, their private lives and their indi­vidual desires. One feature shared by all of them is their passion for their jobs - from the Mecha­tronik trainee right up to the female board member.

“Encoun­ters - Women of the Star” was published in a bilin­gual German and English edition distributed to over 3,400 inter­na­tional media.
