Cologne, April 2012 - For its press communication work for Mercedes-Benz at the IAA 2011, OSK received an intermedia globe SILVER Award at the World Media Festival in the category Sales Promotions - Events. The jury praised the effective PR format on the future of individual mobility, which perfectly combined a media event on the evening before the IAA with the official Mercedes-Benz press conference on the first press day of the fair. With its image-rich overall choreography of compact spoken-word contributions and live acts, its targeted use of the latest media technology and its emotional product presentations, the agency team clearly distanced itself from the run-of-the-mill sequence of traditional trade-fair press conferences. This conception achieved an outstanding international media resonance for Mercedes-Benz.

Every year since 2000, the World Media Festival bestows awards on impressive solutions in the fields of corporate film, television, web, web TV and print productions at the international level. In 2012, the competition attracted over 580 entries in 14 main categories.

“The Next 125! Years - Mercedes-Benz Press Communication IAA 2011” also made a convincing showing at the SABRE Awards 2012 and is at present on the short list for a GOLD Award in the DACH (= Germany, Austria, Switzerland) category of this renowned international PR competition. In two other categories the project was placed among the finalists.
