Cologne, February 2012 - With substantial amounts of money, OSK is supporting two aid projects for children in crisis areas. The first donation was made to the SOS Children’s Village of Gabu in Guinea-Bissau with which OSK has been linked since late 2007 within the framework of a company sponsorship. This year the Children’s Village used the financial support it received to buy a new generator to supply electricity and to renew equipment that includes furniture and electrical appliances.

The second slice of OSK’s support benefited the East Asian Association (OAV) in which Oliver Schrott Kommunikation has been active for many years. The OAV is supporting the reconstruction of the Fuji no Sono children’s home in the Prefecture of Iwate in Japan. The children’s home was severely damaged by the earthquake on 11 March 2011, which has rendered it uninhabitable until now.
