Oliver Schrott, 47, is the agency’s founder and President. A qualified journalist, he spent several years working for news magazines and was News & Features Editor for the “Auto Zeitung” before going freelance in 1989 and writing for automotive, marketing and financial media. Parallel to this, he received an increasing number of requests from industry thus pre-programming the inevitable move towards PR.
In 1993 he founded Oliver Schrott Kommunikation as a specialist agency for the automotive, mobility and technology sectors. His passion is the emotional and visually powerful interpretation and orchestration of complex issues, which precipitated projects such as the “Opel Millennium Express”, the worldwide-acclaimed Maybach world premiere and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class long-distance drive from Paris to Beijing.
Oliver Schrott is married and has two children. In his leisure time and on his travels, he collects books on architecture, history, cities, hotels and landscapes and “reads like a vacuum cleaner”, when he’s not rummaging around on the internet for new inspiration.
