Peking, February 2011 - Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion is bringing an attrac­tive Mercedes-Benz exhi­bi­tion enti­tled 125! years of inno­va­tion to north-east Asia. The basis is a presen­ta­tion system devel­oped by the agency specif­i­cally for the require­ments and needs of customers in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Korea. The system can be set up in a variety of different ways, thus enabling it to be used at B2B and B2C events such as fairs, road shows and press confer­ences. The idea, design and concept of the mobile show­room, which pays equal atten­tion to func­tional and aesthetic aspects, were all devel­oped at OSK in Cologne. The imple­men­ta­tion and accom­pa­ni­ment of the presen­ta­tion system in day-to-day use will be in the hands of the Peking agency team.

The heart of the system, which consists of 139 indi­vidual aluminium lozenges is an inter­ac­tive media element that can be controlled from a distance by simple move­ments of the hand by means of inno­va­tive radar touch tech­nology. The images, films and anima­tions presented are prepared in such a way that they can be adapted to the event concerned and the language of the country with a minimum of effort.

After its successful deploy­ment in Taiwan and Hong Kong, the presen­ta­tion kit will also be used from late March to mid April at the Seoul Motor Show. After this it will move on to Shanghai, where it will be employed within the frame­work of MB activ­i­ties in connec­tion with the Formula I Grand Prix.

In addi­tion to this exhi­bi­tion system for Asia, the agency is designing and imple­menting a number of other projects for Mercedes Benz which will be used world­wide in the current anniver­sary year of the auto­mo­bile under the motto 125! Years of inno­va­tion.
