OSK leads the field in environmental PR

April 2010 - Oliver Schrott Kommu­nika­tion is the leading German agency in the envi­ron­mental PR segment. Its pre-eminence is veri­fied by the recent revenue anal­ysis performed by pr-journal.de, the industry service provider that produces an annual ranking of German PR agen­cies.

With fee revenues of 10.76 million euros (2008: 11.63 million euros) indi­cated by the industry barom­eter, OSK ranks eighth among German PR agen­cies and there­fore remains in the top ten for the sixth year in succes­sion. Among the owner-managed, inde­pen­dent agen­cies, OSK occu­pies an even higher, third place.

According to the compe­tency anal­ysis produced annu­ally by trade jour­nalist Gerhard A. Pfeffer for pr-journal, OSK is by far the number-one German agency for auto­mo­tive PR, as it has been for several years. For the first time, it also leads the rank­ings for envi­ron­mental PR.

Commenting on this achieve­ment, managing director Michael Kemme says, "In the last two years we have steadily expanded our commit­ment to commu­ni­cating green tech­nolo­gies. Through our very close involve­ment with the issue of sustain­able trans­porta­tion, we have accu­mu­lated consid­er­able exper­tise, which we are now applying success­fully on behalf of clients in the manu­fac­turing and energy indus­tries as well."

OSK also scored highly in the PR rank­ings for trans­porta­tion & logis­tics (2nd place), consumer prod­ucts & elec­tronics (3rd place), energy (4th place) and capital goods (5th place).

As in previous years, OSK had the perfor­mance figures submitted for the ranking certi­fied by a public auditor.
